Christmas Holiday

Christmas is now at a close and we had a very eventful holiday. It all started with Heather's Dad flying out to visit us. He flew in so that we all could take a weekend trip up to Philidelphia and New Jersey to visit Heathers family. The initial trip to Philly took only about 5 hours, getting us there just in time for lunch. The visit was nice, I was able to meet most of Heathers family while there and we were also able to get a really nice 5 Generation picture with Baby Alexis, Heather, Mark(Heathers dad), Claire(Heathers gramma), and Mary(Heathers Babci/great gramma).

 

This was a nice memento for the whole family. Alexis was able to meet a lot of her family. 

Next we drove the 2 hours to Rutherford, NJ to visit the rest of Heathers Family as well as some friends of hers from high school. That night we went over to her friend Jenine's house to see her and her family.

Alexis was met by Megan, Jenine and Kristen among others. We only spent a few hours there before we had to get back to the hotel for the night, we had a long next day ahead of us. We still had to meet Heathers mom and more of her family as well as make the long 8 hour drive back home that night.

The next big event was me flying out to Arizona to pick up Skyler. We only get to see Skyler on even year holidays and on summer breaks, so it was well worth the time to fly out to get him. He was able to finally meet his new little sister, whom he says he loves very much.









Christmas was nice also, my brother Willie stayed over the night before to help with Skyler so that my family could come over that morning and see Skyler open his presents. He got a Drum set from Santa this year and Alexis got a little Kitchen learning set. He also got a Skooter from us that he likes to ride around the house. Unfortunately though, i have to fly Skyler back to Arizona on January 1st then it is back to work for me.
