Happy Easter everyone! Along with celebrating our first real Easter as a family (Ryan was on deployment last Easter), we celebrated Alexis turning 9 months old today!!! Before we know it she will be one year!!! We had a great family day! Ryan had duty last night, so he had to sleep on the ship, but when he got home, we showed Alexis what the Easter bunny gave her! She got a large teddy bear, an Easter basket with a little candy (Ryan will eat LOL) and 2 little stuffed animals, a ball, a very soft pink bunny, and those 2 white bunnies you see were given to Alexis from my mother. They were mine when I was a child! It is nice to hand down some of my favorites to my little girl!! After we opened her presents, I made us pancakes and then we got ready for church! (That beautiful dress you see was picked out and given to Alexis by her Great Aunt Renee and Great Cousin Randi!!)
This was Alexis' first church service, and she did very well! She was even dancing and singing along with the music and she listened intently to the Pastor! I think she liked his voice.

After church, we went to spend the day with Will, Sandy, Brooke, and Willie!
First thing she tried was chocolate icing!
Then she put her feet in the pool. I didn't get any pictures of that because I was holding her, but it was a little cold, so she wasn't too happy. She did get used to it eventually. Willie jumped in the pool and the waves got her dress a little wet so we let her hang out in her diaper for a bit!
Her Easter gift from Grandma, Grandpa, Aunt Brooke, and Uncle Willie was a walking, talking duck! She was very amused!
I put Alexis in her swing that Grandma and Grandpa got her with a bottle, hoping she would take a nap, but as usual, she wouldn't sleep because she likes the toys on it too much! :)
This is after dinner. I fed Alexis her dinner while we were all sitting down for our dinner, but she also ate some mashed potatoes, and she tried devilled eggs for the first time. I don't think she knew if she liked it or not. Her Mommy and both Grandmas LOVE them, so maybe she will grow up to love it! So here, Alexis is digesting her food and hanging out with her Daddy while he plays on Uncle Willie's iPhone.
This is Alexis trying her first cupcake! She obviously enjoyed it very much!!! Who wouldn't?! LOL
After Lexi ate her dessert, we packed up the car and drove home. As soon as we got home, we put Alexis to bed. She was very tired, and then Ryan and I were able to get a little cleaning done. I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter!
