So the year has gone and a new one has begun. Last year was a long one for the Strong family. Ryan spent most of the year out to sea on deployment. Heather spent the majority of it pregnant, and Skyler was living with his mom in Arizona. We rang in the new year as a family which meant Ryan sitting at his computer, Heather sitting in her chair with Alexis sleeping (or was she) in her lap, and Skyler passed out on the floor, at least till the ball dropped that is.
Then came January 1st with Ryan and Skyler flying back to Arizona to drop Skyler back off with his mom. He will return again for another visit in May for at least 2 months. Before Skyler left though, we were able to do some wonderful family photos.
About three weeks later we decided that we wanted to replace some furniture in the living room. So we purchased a new 50" TV with a stand and also bought a Lazy Boy type recliner. We absolutely love them both. Next big thing on our list after these are paid will be a bunk bed for Skyler's room.
On Monday January 10th Skyler was awarded Student of the Week at his school. He is doing a wonderful job there and we hope to see many more of these to come from him.
These are beautiful pictures! It sure is nice to be able to see everyone, even if it's from the computer. Your children are beautiful and looking at Ryan is like looking at my brother!
