October 2011

Hi everyone!  Just a quick update to let everyone know what is going on!  Alexis has been having a blast with her Grandpa Petersen!  At first she was a little shy, but it took her no longer than maybe an hour or two to warm up to him and start loving on him.  And since I (Heather) have been so cranky and not able to move around as fast, Lexi has been loving all of the attention and play time.

Ryan is now home.  He was able to be put on leave just in case Camron decided to come early, but as we all know, he sure is taking his time!
Halloween was an experience of several different days of events.  We had 2 military events we went to where Alexis was able to dress up, and then we went on her first real Trick-or-Treating adventure with our neighbors!  We walked around the neighborhood and then we walked around a mall where they also gave out candy.  Skyler was not with us, but his Mom was able to send us a picture of him in his Transformers costume! And Alexis dressed up as Belle from Beauty and the Beast!

So for those of you who have not heard the news, Ryan and I went to our 38 week appointment for Camron this past week and were surprised to find out that he is estimated to be weighing in at about 9lbs 9oz!  So being that he is so big and I have had a previous c-section, my doctor thinks that we will not be able to successfully have the baby naturally.  SO the doctor has recommended we have a repeat c-section.  Tuesday (11/8/11) it is!
That being said, I know everyone is wondering if there is anything we need.  Camron has so many clothes now thanks to some great friends and we have so many toys for the kids, we definitely don't need anymore for the time being!  But we do need a mattress for Camron's crib, and a "Baby Trend" double stroller (back to back, not side to side).  We realize that those can be pretty expensive, so we also have the stuff we have saved on our baby registry that I provided previously if anyone is interested.  We hope to send out birth announcements and pictures to everyone as soon as we can afford to!
We hope everyone is doing well, and we will make sure to make some calls out to everyone as soon as we can!  For any of you who wants to get ahold of us, my cell is 757-359-7547!

PS We FINALLY got a family car!  A Chrysler Pacifica which is a cross between a sedan and an SUV, so it is perfect to fit our growing family.  Now to just sell that Mustang!!!  :)
