Camron Francis Strong!

Camron is here!  Shortly after putting up our last post, I went to go lay down only to have my water break!  3 hours later, Camron was here.  It was an extremely quick delivery and ended up in a c-section like planned because Camron's heart rate kept dropping during my contractions.  He was 8lbs 13 oz and 20 1/2 inches long!  Born at 4:28PM!  We are now home and recovering nicely!

October 2011

Hi everyone!  Just a quick update to let everyone know what is going on!  Alexis has been having a blast with her Grandpa Petersen!  At first she was a little shy, but it took her no longer than maybe an hour or two to warm up to him and start loving on him.  And since I (Heather) have been so cranky and not able to move around as fast, Lexi has been loving all of the attention and play time.

Ryan is now home.  He was able to be put on leave just in case Camron decided to come early, but as we all know, he sure is taking his time!
Halloween was an experience of several different days of events.  We had 2 military events we went to where Alexis was able to dress up, and then we went on her first real Trick-or-Treating adventure with our neighbors!  We walked around the neighborhood and then we walked around a mall where they also gave out candy.  Skyler was not with us, but his Mom was able to send us a picture of him in his Transformers costume! And Alexis dressed up as Belle from Beauty and the Beast!

So for those of you who have not heard the news, Ryan and I went to our 38 week appointment for Camron this past week and were surprised to find out that he is estimated to be weighing in at about 9lbs 9oz!  So being that he is so big and I have had a previous c-section, my doctor thinks that we will not be able to successfully have the baby naturally.  SO the doctor has recommended we have a repeat c-section.  Tuesday (11/8/11) it is!
That being said, I know everyone is wondering if there is anything we need.  Camron has so many clothes now thanks to some great friends and we have so many toys for the kids, we definitely don't need anymore for the time being!  But we do need a mattress for Camron's crib, and a "Baby Trend" double stroller (back to back, not side to side).  We realize that those can be pretty expensive, so we also have the stuff we have saved on our baby registry that I provided previously if anyone is interested.  We hope to send out birth announcements and pictures to everyone as soon as we can afford to!
We hope everyone is doing well, and we will make sure to make some calls out to everyone as soon as we can!  For any of you who wants to get ahold of us, my cell is 757-359-7547!

PS We FINALLY got a family car!  A Chrysler Pacifica which is a cross between a sedan and an SUV, so it is perfect to fit our growing family.  Now to just sell that Mustang!!!  :)

Just a quick note!

Hi everyone!  We hope all is well!  Ryan is now "out to sea" for the next month and Alexis and I are anxiously waiting for him to come back.  Leave it to his ship to leave right around the time the baby is due!!  haha  Luckily, my Dad will be out here very soon to help out and make sure that I am OK if I go into labor early again.  Let's hope not.  We want Ryan to witness at least one birth!
On that note, I wanted to leave our registry information in case anyone wanted to send anything!  :)  Our registry is at Baby's R Us and it is number 46915014.  We don't need as much as last time, obviously, but I am mostly worried about keeping our little man warm in the winter time!
Otherwise, all is well.  Just taking things day by day until all of my men are here!  :)

September Update

Wow I haven't posted in a while!  Our little Alexis turned one a couple months ago, and we had a little party for her!  We had to do it a week early because Ryan's ship had to go out to sea for a week, so Ryan was not able to be here for her actual birthday.  But since we did it a week early, Alexis was able to celebrate with her family from PA, her Cioci Jenine (God mother), her Daddy, and her big brother, Skyler!  Skyler also went home to his Mom a couple days later, but we hope to see him soon!  The pictures aren't in any specific order.  One of the best parts of the party is that Alexis got to Skype with her Grandpa, so if you look at the picture of my computer, you will see my Dad's face.  He was able to watch Alexis eat her birthday cake I made her.  For one of her birthday presents from her Mommy and Daddy, Alexis got her big girl car seat.  So we got a picture of Alexis in it for the first time.  She was very happy to be able to sit facing front!

Once Alexis' birthday was finished and Skyler went back with his Mom, it was moving time!  We successfully got moved into our 4 bedroom home, which we absolutely love!  We have a lot more room, and it is 2 stories.  We haven't taken any pictures of it yet, but I'm sure we will soon!
And the countdown continues for baby Camron!  Due November 15th, we are now at 31 1/2 weeks!  Almost there!!!!
Here are some more up to date pictures of Alexis for those of you who don't live close enough to see her!!! You will see some pictures of Alexis in her walker.  As you know, she is entirely too big for her walker, but her new fun thing to do is climb in it herself, and then cry to get out!  lol  There are, also, some pictures from Brooke's Gradation party!!
